Start Here: Your First Terrarium
1. Choose a Jar
Pick a glass container with a lid for closed terrariums, or an open bowl for succulents. Size matters — bigger jars are easier for beginners.
2. Layering & Substrate
Add drainage stones, activated charcoal, and a layer of terrarium soil. This keeps roots healthy and prevents rot.
3. Plant & Decor
Place your moss and plants, then add decorative stones, driftwood, or miniature figurines to bring your world to life.
4. First-Week Care
Mist lightly every 2-3 days. Watch for condensation — a little is good, too much means open the lid briefly to air it out.
